Bong Revilla is now ‘beating’ COVID-19

After asking the Filipino people to pray for him amidst his COVID-19 complications, it seems that Bong Revilla is now happy to report he is ‘beating‘ the virus.

Sharing a photo of himself lying on a hospital bed, the senator thanked those supporting and praying for him to beat the virus.

‘Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat na hindi bumitaw at tuloy-tuloy na nagdasal para sa aking kalusugan.

I am responding well to the treatment and medication, and with your prayers, I am beating COVID-19.’

He continued to give credit to the frontliners aiding him and the nearly 190,000 Filipinos who have contracted the virus in the country.

‘Thank you dear God for guiding all health workers and giving them the strength to push on in these difficult times, and blessing them with your healing hands for them to in turn heal us.

Revilla’s post comes after wife Lani Mercado shared that he was rushed to the hospital after getting pneumonia after his COVID-19 result – where he received an influx of ‘Stay positive‘ greetings from… well-wishers.
