PSA: Bong Revilla wants you to pray for him

124.5 million prayers should be enough

Despite the Internet sending their well-wishes the week before, Senator Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla was rushed to the hospital due to complications from COVID-19, as shared by his wife and Cavite mayor, Lani Mercado.

According to Mercado, her husband has ‘developed pneumonia and isolation in a regular facility is no longer ideal’. But even if he’s supposedly in bad shape, Revilla managed to go live on Facebook to once again ask for prayers from his avid well-wishers, who previously responded with ‘Stay Positive’ greetings.

Revilla first tested positive last August 9.

‘PRAY FOR ME, PLEASE’

Sen. Bong Revilla Jr. went live on Facebook to ask for prayers from supporters. Mayor Lani Revilla earlier said he was rushed to the hospital after his latest x-ray showed that he has developed pneumonia.

Revilla isn’t the only prominent figure to recently make headlines for a COVID-19 diagnosis. Avid Duterte supporter Banat By also revealed that he has the virus, saying that it was God’s way of teaching him to ‘re-evaluate what matters most in life’.

As of writing, the Philippines has 173,774 cases, the highest in Southeast Asia, with 2,795 deaths and 113,481 recoveries.
