‘Stay Positive’ greetings flood Bong Revilla after COVID-19 diagnosis

ICYMI, Senator Bong Revilla revealed on social that he has tested positive for COVID-19. Revilla said that he and his family underwent tests after a member of his household and staff contracted the disease. His wife and children all turned out negative for the virus.

And while he remains sad about the news, he adds that people need not worry about his health, as he feels totally fine.

‘Kasama ang inyong mga dasal at grasya ng Panginoon, makakaraos at malalampasan din natin ito’, wrote Revilla.

Ngayon pa lang, salamat po sa inyong mga panalanging. Thank you for your prayers’.

Nakakalungkot po na balita – I am COVID-19 positive.Pero huwag po kayo mag-alala, I am okay. Sila Lani at ang mga bata…

Still, knowing just how sympathetic the Internet can be, people couldn’t help but voice their well-wishes and words of encouragement, with ‘stay positive’ comments flooding Facebook and Twitter soon after the news dropped. It’s enough to make you feel mushy and warm inside.

As of writing, the Philippines has 129,913 cases, of which 59,970 are active cases, with 67,673 recoveries and 2,270 deaths. Here’s hoping for the best.
