‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 confirmed ahead of S4 release

Thinking in advance

Netflix’s most-watched series ‘Stranger Things‘ just confirmed that the show’s yet to be released fourth season isn’t the end for the Hawkins gang.

Creators Matt and Ross Duffer shared the news in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, where they explained that the pandemic has given them a new perspective on how the show could go on.

‘Season four won’t be the end. We know what the end is, and we know when it is,’ Ross said.

‘[The pandemic] has given us time to look ahead, figure out what is best for the show. Starting to fill that out gave us a better idea of how long we need to tell that story.’

Despite the good news, we likely won’t get season 4 anytime soon as filming and productions were halted amidst the Coronavirus pandemic.

‘We’ve had a lot more time to work on the scripts. For the first time, we have all the scripts written and we’re able to look at it as a whole piece and make adjustments.’

ICYMI, the last time we caught sight of the world of Stranger Things was way back in February when a sneak peek trailer revealed that Jim Hopper is actually still alive following the S3 finale.

S3’s ending also sees our core characters moving away from Indiana and each other, with Eleven, Will, and Jonathan leaving behind the rest of the gang.
