This billboard lets you read a face better than its actual message

Not sure what the priority is here

The National Youth Commission (NYC) is recently garnering flack once again for a billboard along Marcos Highway that supposedly promotes basic COVID-19 guidelines.

We’re using the term ‘supposedly’ here because, by the look of its design, we’re not exactly sure if it’s promoting the barely readable protocols or the humongous face of the guy next to it. The mug in question is of NYC Chairperson Ryan Enriquez.

Enriquez and his peeps recently made headlines when the Commission on Audit (COA) flagged the NYC for the excessive spending of its 2019 budget when compared to the paltry list of accomplishments for the year.

The agency finished 4 out of 12 planned activities in their anti-drug and HIV awareness initiatives despite spending 89% (PHP 9.3M) of its total budget, with expenses that include overpriced attires, excessive seminars, and 5-star lodgings within Metro Manila.

Glad to see where that taxpayer money is going to.
