beep card, the country’s reloadable smart card, now offers its own points rewards system for every time someone spends money using their card.
Per beeptopay.com, you get 1 reward point for every PHP 1 spent from the Beep Card. A minimum of 1,000 points must be earned to redeem PHP 10 beep load at select e-loading stations.
Users first need to download the beep app on iOS or Android to register their card number and be eligible to earn and collect the points.
Unfortunately, beep cards used for reloading railways (LRT1, LRT2, and MRT3) aren’t eligible for the rewards, so the project is more for convenience stores and non-rail pvblic transpo.

‘We’d like to do our part by promoting the use of the Beep payment system not only for the convenience of passengers and efficiency for transport operators but as a means to prevent the spread of diseases,‘ said beep’s AF Payments Inc. chief Sharon Fong, who emphasized the need for contactless payments amidst the pandemic.
The promo only runs from August 22 to November 22 this year. The official Beep website has also released a series on infographics to explain the new process.
