Twitter is testing notifications for suspended and locked accounts
If you’re a hundred percent sure that you haven’t violated any rules on Twitter, then you don’t have to worry about getting a notification on your being account suspended or locked. The Twitter Support account announced that they would be testing a feature that shows the said notice.
‘Knowing where your account stands is important. We’re testing a new way of letting you know — right when you log in,’ the post said.
When an account is suspended, users are in a permanent read-only mode. It means that they can’t tweet, retweet, or like posts. Meanwhile, locked accounts are in a temporary read-only mode. It will take users a minimum of one week or more to perform activities and regain full access to their accounts.

The rollout of the test followed after the microblogging platform received feedback from users who realized their accounts were suspended or locked after hitting the tweet or follow button. This will only be available on a small number of users on iOS, Android, and desktop.
Among the reasons why a user’s account is possibly suspended are spam, account security at risk, and abusive tweets or behavior. On the other hand, an account may be locked if it’s compromised or if it violates the Twitter Rules or Terms of Service. More details on managing your account can also be seen at the Help Center.
