Will the ‘Tinder Swindler’ really party at BGC soon?

Now that quarantine protocols are easing up a bit, there’s no doubt that parties will be entering the picture again. Interestingly, Esquire Magazine caught a video of Shimon Heyuda Hayut a.k.a. The Tinder Swindler inviting people to attend a birthday party in Bonifacio Global City.

It turns out that Shimon joined Cameo, a video messaging platform where ordinary people can request celebrities to create personalized greetings. Local DJ Cecile Zamora a.k.a. Chuvaness asked him to create one. Since it’s a private celebration, Esquire redacted a few location details.

Shimon said, ‘I want to invite you all on April 27, at 8 p.m… in BGC at Cecile’s birthday. She will be DJ-ing along with Mang Melvin, Kix Suarez, Gerard Hansen, and Eric Ong.’

‘Save the date. It’s gonna be amazing. And I’m gonna be there. I wish you all a great and a magnificent day everybody. Take care,’ he added.

So will the fraudster from the Netflix documentary really dance the night away in BGC? Zamora spoke to PhilStar Life and clarified that Shimon won’t be there. She also instructed him to say in the video that he won’t be present at the party. The DJ said, ‘I don’t even know why he said that… It’s not true.’

According to Shimon’s Cameo profile, he has garnered a thousand followers and he charges P7,678 for a personalized video and P51,478 for a business-related video. While the dating app fraudster is forever banned from Tinder, he still uses his fake moniker ‘Simon Leviev’.

The Tinder Swindler presented how Shimon scammed his Tinder matches out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. He posed as the son of Lev Leviev, an Israeli diamond mogul who owns LLD Diamonds.
