Taiwan is VISA-FREE for Filipino flyers again!

Starting September 29, Filipino passport holders can stay in Taiwan for up to 14 days without a visa!

The Philippines has been added to the list of countries that have visa-exempt status in the country according to the Taiwan Bureau of Consular Affairs in an updated announcement bulletin on September 22.

Filipinos can enjoy visa-free entry to the country until July 31, 2023, as of writing. Other countries that can fly to Taiwan visa-free starting September 29 are Brunei, Israel, and Thailand.

The update follows their announcement of heightened protocols last September 6. Taiwan just reinstated the visa-free entry that Filipinos once and will soon continue to enjoy!

Once again, Filipinos can enjoy visiting the scenic and historic streets of Taiwan and eating the delectable delicacies! Apart from the must-see tallest building in Taiwan, the Taipei 101, are scenic locations such as the Ximending shopping district, Rainbow Village, and Yehliu Geopark.

For certified foodies, Tonghua and Shida Night Markets are the place to be. You also haven’t been to Taiwan if you haven’t had their popular buns! Liu Jia Pan-Fried bun in the Zhongzheng District has been known as the best-fried bun in Taipei for more than three decades!
