The Internet freaks out over Valorant being gay
Valorant just confirmed agents Killjoy and Raze’s relationship by posting a shot of the two kissing.
Shortly after tweeting a photo of the two, Valorant’s official Twitter account posted the pair’s shipname: nanobomb.
Despite dodging the game’s fan speculations about Killjoy and Raze’s relationship a few times before, as well as ‘Valorant‘s’ Creative Director David “Riot KingKut” Nottingham clarifying that the two were just friends in a Reddit Q&A thread two years ago, fans were still insistent on shipping the two together.
Now, it seems that ‘Valorant‘ just confirmed the two agents’ relationship by posting a picture of them kissing on December 12 as part of a recent photo series.

Following the photo of the two kissing, Valorant posted their shipname Nanobomb, adding more fuel to the fire of some of the game’s long-time supporters.
A lot were happy that the ship is now canon, including some streamers like AverageJonas who openly showed their support.
If you get offended by two female characters kissing in a videogame please unfollow me and rethink ur values before interacting with my content ever again.

However, despite the outpour of positivity on Valorant’s post, there were others that were still skeptical of the pair’s relationship.
Some even mentioned that they will stop supporting and playing the game while others argued this was just another marketing strategy. While there were those that felt the creators were imposing their beliefs on young and impressionable players.
As an age segment, how accurate is it to reflect the theme of homosexuality in a game mostly played by children? I respect people's orientation, but it's sad to impose this on children.

Because of the game’s lore being brought to light, the possibility of Valorant having a series adaptation following the success of ‘Arcane’ also came up again.
This is not the first time ‘Riot Games’, ‘Valorant’s’ game creators announced an LGBT couple. They first debuted an LGBT couple in ‘League of Legends’ during this year’s Pride Month through Twisted Fate and Grave’s relationship shown in the short story ‘The Boys and Bombolini.’
